FAQ's.

Do you offer set-up and pack down?

We currently offer DIY only packages but will introduce set up and pack down options in the near future.

So for now, you collect everything you need from us, set up wherever and however you like, do your thing and then return it.

Do I have to book a picnic to hire a craft package?

Definitely not! You might want to casually gather around your dining table with your pals while getting crafty. Our craft options are available for you to make that happen, without a styled picnic.

Will you customise a theme (or do I have to choose from the set options)?

YES, YES, YES! Throw your ideas at us. We live to bring ideas to life! You want a Bridgerton high tea? Done. Nightmare Before Christmas Paint & Sip? All over it. Orange disco aliens? Ummmm - we're so in.

Magic can take some time though, so please be mindful that we need some notice for custom themes.

What occasions are your picnics suitable for?

Honestly ~ anything! We do kids (big & small) birthday parties, date nights, baby and bridal showers, proposals, Mothers Day, work parties. For whatever occasion you feel to gather your people and get creative ~ do it!

What age group are the Kids Parties suited to?

Our Kids Parties are best suited for younger children (<10) where mess is expected. If you are looking for a beautifully styled picnic for your tween, or responsible <10, jump over to our Group Picnics page. The Kids Craft options can be added to any picnic package.

Can I bring my own food?

Yes! Gather & Create do not supply food and beverages. We can however recommend some wonderful local businesses that do grazing boxes. You can also hire platters, cake stands etc. from us.

What is your policy for rainy weather?

In the event of rain, we offer free rescheduling within 6 months or an indoor setup at an alternative venue provided by you. Further details can be found in our Terms and Conditions.

Will my DIY package fit in my car?

Entirely depends on your car, and your package. Generally, an SUV with the ability to put some seats down does the job!

Everything will be organised for you into a tub with a lid or large storage bag.

The recycled timber tables are 1.5m long and 72cm wide.

Cushions do take up a surprising amount of space.

Are there booking fees or other costs?

Each booking requires a $50 refundable bond payment. Payment of this bond secures your event date and package, and signifies your agreement to the Terms and Conditions of hire.

This $50 bond will be returned to you after the return of all items in clean, undamaged condition.
