TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

The following Terms and Conditions constitute an agreement between you as the client (“you”) and Gather & Create (“we”, “us”). The contained terms and conditions apply to your engagement of us for our Services.

PAYMENT OF BOND
A $50.00 refundable bond applies to all bookings. By paying your bond, you confirm that you agree to these terms and conditions. The payment of the bond secures your booking. No dates will be reserved until the bond is paid. 

 

RETURN OF ITEMS + BOND
All items included in your package must be returned in clean and undamaged condition. You are liable for the cost of replacing, repairing or significantly cleaning damaged or missing property. This will be retained from your $50 bond. In the event the cost of damage or missing items exceeds $50, you are liable for the difference.

For DIY packages, you must:

• Wash and dry all tableware (glasses, plates, cutlery, platters etc)

• Wash and dry any cushion covers, blankets, tablecloths, napkins etc that have been soiled.

• Thoroughly wipe off all dirt from the bottom of umbrellas before putting back in its bag

Your bond will be refunded to your nominated bank account within 3 days of the return of all items.

 

CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING & REFUNDS POLICY
 

CANCELLATION
 

14 DAYS + NOTICE - Receive 100 % refund
 

7-14 DAYS NOTICE - You can choose between rescheduling your gathering to a new date or forfeiting your $50.00 bond. Any monies paid above the bond will be refunded.

7 DAYS NOTICE OR LESS - NO REFUND will be given
You forfeit all rights to a refund if you choose to cancel (this is due to securing your time and date thus denying other customers)

RESCHEDULING
 

We are happy to reschedule ONCE ONLY for personal reasons to a new date within 6 months of your initial date, provided 48 hours' notice is given. If less than 48 hours' notice is given, you will incur a rescheduling fee equal to 50% of your invoice.

No refunds will be given for CANCELLING a RESCHEDULED date despite adequate notice due to turning away other bookings for the agreed to dates on what would be two occasions.
 

WET WEATHER

Don’t we just love when mother nature decides some rain is in order?!

A back up location for wet weather is always an important part of planning a gathering. However, if you do not have an indoor option available to you on your confirmed date, we are happy to reschedule at no cost to a new date within 6 months, provided this is confirmed 48 hours prior to the start of your service (either collection of DIY package or time of setup service). This can only be rescheduled once. If less than 48 hours' notice is given, you will incur a rescheduling fee equal to 50% of your invoice.
 

Under no circumstances will Gather & Create proceed with set up in an unprotected location if wet weather occurs or is likely forecasted. Refunds will not be issued on the grounds of wet weather.
 

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Gather & Create reserves the right to alter, vary, or substitute any item without notice.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The graphics, logos, business name, trademarks (whether registered or not) and advertisements on any Gather & Create platforms are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.

If images owned by Gather & Create are shared on social media platforms, they must be credited and linked back to Gather & Create.

If images of an event styled by Gather & Create are shared on social media platforms, you are encouraged to provide credit to Gather & Create.
 

RELEASE & INDEMNITY

You release and indemnify Gather & Create from any third-party claims, suits, actions, or proceedings arising from the use of hired items or breaches of these Terms.
